    I’m afraid I don’t offer refunds on my courses. Please contact me at anne @ annestine.com if you are unsure if this course is for you. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

  • What if I have questions about anything in the course?

    Unlike some online classes, this course includes a discussion section where you can ask questions and receive a reply within 24 hours, without joining a Facebook group.

  • Do I have to go through the whole course at once, or can I pick and choose what section I want to learn first?

    You have the ability to choose which sections you want to view in any order and at your own pace.

  • How long will I have access to this course online?

    Students have "lifetime" access to the course and can revisit course material even after completion. This means that as long as the course is active on the site, students may return over and over again to access the course curriculum.

  • Do I need a lot of new materials?

    If you are not new to encaustic, you probably already have everything you need for this course. Beginners will need to purchase the fundamental materials necessary to begin working with encaustic: a pancake griddle, encaustic medium, natural hair chip brushes, encaustic paint in red, blue, yellow, green and white, a craft or hot gun, and a wood panel. Optional materials: pan pastels, alcohol inks, oil paint, sculpting tools. A detailed list of supplies is included in the course if you wish to create the demo painting.
